About Brittany

I am a passionate 26-year-old Australian artist with an urge to create. From a very young age, I knew that art was a major interest of mine as I developed my technique from painting to more detailed drawings. I began by learning the basics from my father, who is also a creative. From there, I began to experiment with different tools and delved into the world of Instagram, where I was able to learn from incredible artists across the world.

Working full-time in a Digital Marketing Specialist role, I realized the passion to create realistic drawings and teach others was a direction that felt right for me to go in. I now work part-time with a motivation to supply online tutorials, commissioned pieces, prints, and over a range of content that enjoys the simple traditional art form of creating realistic drawings on paper.

My specialty is the creation of realistic portraits in graphite, charcoal, and oil pastel. I have found that the use of all three mediums creates a beautiful and vast range of tones in the making of portraits. The ability to create something so expressive yet simple is so inspiring to me and I hope that my love for art becomes more contagious and makes a positive impact on all those that I have the privilege to share it with.
